Rasberry laced vanilla cake question?

Cake batter will always been 'pourable', so that you can just transfer from bowl to pan w/o anything. Kinda like pancakes. If it's thicker than that, you'll just have to try again and thin it out a little with extra liquid. Find another similar recipe and see if they're basically similar amounts and ingredients. That's what I do if I'm unsure of something. Good luck!
